Surfside Plantation, Horry County, SC - Surfside Plantation, is a residential community located on a piece of property formerly owned by Henry Burroughs. The development is bounded by Highway 707 to the west and Big Block Road to the North in Horry County, South Carolina. Phase 1 of the project is complete with seventy (70) single-family home sites. Phase 2 is under construction and will consists of fifty-two (52) more home sites. At build out the community will be comprised of 180 total home sites.
DDC’s professional services for this project included the rezoning efforts from CFA to SF-6, land planning with entrance feature design, civil engineering and construction services in order to bid and construct the project. DDC’s involvement with Beazer Homes on this project is ongoing, as Beazer Homes initiated the design and permitting of the next and final phase of this project.
