Rezoning and Annexation SERVICES

The highest value of parcel of property cannot be attained without the entitlements necessary to allow development to the highest and best use.  Recognizing this more than two decades ago, DDC began to specialize in property rights cases, providing guidance and expertise in rezoning of property for our Clients.  Along with this, we have developed expertise in annexations, development agreements, Special Tax Districts and other land management vehicles which allow development entities to achieve value.  DDC has an exceedingly high success rate in these assignments, often facing large and very upset neighboring landowners.   At last count, the firm has altered the zoning for more than 80,000 acres of property in the Coastal Zone of South Carolina.  We have also rezoned properties in North Carolina and Georgia for our developer Clients in those areas.
