Geographic information system (GIS)
DDC has invested heavily in the most current computer technology available. GIS Technology provides a unique capability to merge very differing data sets regardless of the original measuring scheme. This unique capability is possible because GIS systems have a linear referencing system that assigns locations to objects according to their distance to or from something else. This is a powerful tool for road planning and permitting projects.
