PHASE 1A OF THE PROJECT STREETSCAPE ENHANCEMENTS (1.7 acres)
The overhead utility wires have been converted to an underground conduit system in the superblock parking lot between Kings Highway and North Oak Street and from 8th Avenue North (on the south end) to 9th Avenue North (on the north end).
In keeping with the updated schematic utility design completed by DDC, the project utilities (water, sewer and drainage) were relocated in the back parking lot area and finally the areas roughly defined as the area between Kings Highway and North Oak Street and from 8th Avenue North (on the south end) to 9th Avenue North (on the north end) consisted of installing a pervious paver system complete with underground components, curb, gutter, sidewalk and driveway tie-ins.
