Chestnut Street Pump Station, Myrtle Beach, SC -The City of Myrtle Beach contracted with DDC to provide the surveying and civil engineering design for their Chestnut Road Pump Station located in Horry County north of the City of Myrtle Beach in front of the Arcadian Lakes Development in order to upgrade their existing 40 year old Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) duplex Allis Chalmers Flood suction pump station that was constructed back in 1975 with Quadruplex (four) (4) Gorman Rupp self-priming  pumps with piping capacity from 1,000 gpm to 8,500 gpm and 1.42 MDG to 12.1 MDG.
